Kevin Brett is an associate at Bunde and Roberts. He began at the firm as a clerk in 2017 and became an associate upon passing the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in the Summer of 2017. Kevin focuses his practice in areas of family law, including equitable distribution, child support, custody, pre-nuptial agreements and protection from abuse matters.
Kevin received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law. Kevin is an active member of the Family Law Sections of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations.
Prior to deciding to pursue a career in family law, Kevin gained experience in a variety of legal fields. Kevin was an extern for Pennsylvania Superior Court Judge Victor P. Stabile, during which time he evaluated legal arguments and drafted memorandum opinions. He also spent time in the Governor’s Office of General Counsel where he focused on real estate and construction law for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. While attending law school, Kevin worked as a law clerk for Reed Smith’s trial-prep team specializing in e-discovery. He also has experience in criminal law, having worked for the Allegheny County’s Public Defenders Office through Duquesne’s Legal Clinic.
